Why is VAUTE's *V* for Vegan?
We make coats with innovative high-tech textiles and sustainable materials that are better than traditional animal fibers, so if you live or travel to cold cities, we can keep you warm and beautiful this winter. I started VAUTE in 2008 to take animals out of the fashion equation, starting with wool. Most people don't have any idea how cruel the process of factory farming wool is, ending in slaughter. Keeping the sheep of the world in my heart has driven me to give my all to innovate with new textiles so we can create something better, on our way to the future of fashion: kinder, warmer, more beautiful so that one day the world will look at wearing animals as a thing of the past.
